🛕 Ekaveera Devi Temple – A Forgotten Kakatiya Shrine 1156–1196 CE | Rani Rudrama’s temple | Idol missing | Ruins & neglect | Mogilicharla, Warangal, Telangana 🏚️ Ekaveera Devi Temple – a ruined Kakatiya‑era temple located in Mogilicharla village, Geesugonda Mandal, Warangal district, Telangana . Built during 1156–1196 AD , the temple was greatly patronised by the Kakatiya kings, and according to local lore, the great queen Rani Rudrama Devi offered prayers here daily. It was also the site where Rani Rudrama was reportedly ambushed by her opponents. The temple stands on the banks of a sprawling Kakatiya‑built tank. The village derives its name from Mogili Chettu (Garden Marigold) that grew abundantly here.
