Shankaramma Fort

Shankaramma Fort is located in Shankarampet village and Mandal, Medak District, Telangana State, India. The fort, which was under Papannapet Samsthanam (kingdom), about 70 kilometres from the district headquarters, has been located in a hilly area of this small village. The locals inform that Rani Shankaramma constructed the fort in 1760 which consists of Devidi (residential place for the inmates of the fort) and Chavidi (meeting place). Due to negligence, the fort has been covered with overgrown bushes and most of its structure has been ruined. One cooking room collapsed about six years ago and a small room, expectedly a pooja room, exists without roof. Kailash Fort

Kailash Fort is just 160 km from Hyderabad on the Hyderabad-Sangareddy-Nanded road but hardly anyone knows about the 9th century fort constructed by Rashtrakutas. Gunjala Waterfalls

Gunjala Waterfalls is a seasonal waterfall located near Gunjala village, Bheempur Mandal, Adilabad district, Telangana State, India.  It is on a rainfed Gunjala vagu which joins Penganga river. Certain seasonal waterfalls (July to September) that live for a short time during the monsoon have come alive. Thanks to the torrential rains. Yamanapalli or Vemanpalli Dinosaur Fossil

Yamanapalli Dinosaur Fossil of Kotasaurus Yamanpalliensis, 16-foot-high (over 5 metres in height) and 14 metres in length from Jurassic age, dating back to about 160 million years was found during an excavation by the Geological Survey of India (GSI) in Yamanapalli region of Mancherial District, Telangana State, India. Fossils of dinosaur bone fragments, tortoise and animal foot prints also found at this site in Yamanapalli, also known as Vemanapalli, is located in Godavari Pranhita valley of Mancherial district in Telangana.  The fossils have been found in an eight-km radius of Pranhita river valley. Adilabad District

Adilabad district is a district located in the northern region of Telangana, India. It is known as the gateway district to South and Central India. The district derives its name from Adilabad, its headquarters town which was named after the ruler of Bijapur, Ali Adil Shah. Historically, Adilabad was known as Edlabad during the rule of Qutub Shahis.
