Pakhal Wildlife Sanctuary , established in 1952 , is located near Pakhalashoknagar Village, Khanapur Mandal, Warangal District, Telangana . Located by the boundary of Pakhal Lake / Cheruvu , the sanctuary derives its name from the historic lake.
